Bright and airy styled images were top of this mom’s request. She wanted a clean organic boho vibe to her final maternity images. After following her on Instagram at Lace and Latitude I could see better her style. Her family is simply adorable and her decorating styles are boho awesome.
I remember chatting with her and thinking that I would be able to get creative with her maternity session.
She mentioned wanting to have a floral headpiece but preferred something natural and real, verses an artificial crown. My heart did a little pitter patter….YES! I get it, I love something natural from the woods too.
I gathered a few bits of greenery from outside the studio and went to work making this incredible head piece for her. She brought along a few props of her own and together we had an amazing session.

I wanted to include these studio bed images so you guys could see what the options are for shooting around the large natural light windows in the studio. The sunlight is filtered by the trees outside and soft gauzy curtains. It makes for the dreamiest inside photos. My plan at every session is to include some natural light images.
I like photographing families in this area when they come back for their newborn session. It keeps a consistency in the maternity and baby portraits. Scrolling through these images you can see if mom decided to add them to a wall at home they all would match.
