Maternity/Family Photography Session | Charlotte Photographers

This was a family/maternity session I left feeling really excited about. The lighting was perfect and my sweet brother was able to tag along and bring his boat for me to use in this themed photo session. Thank you!

My mind works in such mysterious ways and when I began thinking about this session I was thinking about the parents and the little guy and what little boys enjoy. Hint- if you make the session into what the children enjoy they usually have a good time themselves 🙂 And in true fashion I think he did!

Naturally water came to mind as it usually does, no I don’t know why I have an infatuation with water…..Well it seemed like the natural thing when I started thinking water…rain..what would the weather be….and knowing that his Dad is a meteorologist the boating idea just fit. So I along with his Mother  decided on the boating theme. Being a local news anchor herself I knew that she would have their clothing coordinated beautifully…and she did.

Some families just make my work so easy and fun, a lot of the times the funniest one is the grandmother. Full of life and carefree and they just seem to float like butterflies helping fix clothing, hair and making their grandchildren laugh. I am so thankful for these grandparents who came along. They were a lovely couple and memorable.

In the end I enjoyed my evening with this family and had a scoop of ice cream with my brother. A treat we  shared as children with our dad on Saturday evenings. It was a great ending and makes me thankful to capture loving moments for my clients. I look forward to seeing them in the future with their new addition …a baby girl! Congratulations.

AMAZING pictures and such a memorable and beautiful experience to be shot by Brandy! She not only has such creative ideas, and plans ahead beautifully, but also makes the day-of experience nothing but a pure pleasure!

Our TV family is used to being in front of the camera, but I don’t think we normally look quite that good or feel that comfortable. Thanks NicCole Photography for doing such a tremendous job capturing this special time with our growing family! You’re right, you can’t go wrong with a little boat, a little boy, and you behind the camera:)

We could not LOVE our pictures more, thanks again! Laurabree, Keith, Ethan and Baby Girl Monday!ReplyCancel
