OK so I have the most fun with the teen girls I shoot for portrait sessions! They are usually very energetic and thrilled to be doing a photo session with NicCole Photography. Every teen has a new idea for what she wants to do in her photo shoot. I love that they have their own unique ideas! Carson had seen my creek shots with expecting mothers and wanted to do her own take for her shoot.
She is very high spirited and bubbly so I chose my adult size tutu and a great carnival type hat, I have to create a fun portfolio for her….to match her larger than life attitude.
We got to the creek, turned on the Pandora radio and laughed the entire time. She had no reservations about the water at all and was happy to comply with my crazy ideas.
Thank you Carson for letting me hang with you for an evening! YOU ROCKED this session!
Yes, I like you was thinking…” oh how will I ever get the creek sand out of that tulle?” Amazingly with a few shakes when it was dry and a gentle hand washing it all came out! YEA for ME!
We did have few serious moments that were super hard for her to come by!
and the story behind my hat was….the gentleman who sold it to me sternly WARNED: “never. ever let a teenage girl wear this hat! It makes them do strange things!” YEP he was right! 🙂
My favorite shot from our senior portrait session in the forrest was this shot! We had mosquitos attacking as I had forgot the repellant. So one quick snap and we both ran and giggled out of the woods!
And her dirty little toes were just to irresistible when compared to the frilly tutu dress.
