Artist Statement

"My art is a key to a secret garden, a path down a rabbit hole and my looking glass. It is a place of solitude and the vision of my soul. It is a journey of exploration and a fantasyland of childhood dreams. It is a reflection of who I am as an artist."

~ B. NicCole

What to Expect

Expect that you don't need to know how to pose in front of the camera, we will help you. Know that you may be tired at the end of your session, we work you!

Expect for your children to behave as children. We want to capture who they are. You can bet the wind might blow, especially in March. I love wind in my hair and in portraits. Expect that your significant other may not think this is the greatest of your ideas to pull the family together for portraits. In the end they have fun too! You better believe that getting everyone's clothes together is a task, I will help you with that too.

In the end....know that it all was worth it when you get your beautiful portraits in your hand and the flood of emotion hits you that these memories are forever yours.

What’s in my camera bag?

Can my husband and children be in a few of the maternity shots?

Of course! We also love pets when we are on location too!

What if it rains?

We dont let a little drizzle scare us off. If however it is a downpour we do reschedule or shoot in the studio.

What if I or a child are sick?

We do offer rescheduling and do our best to get you back on our books as soon as possible.

Does the studio offer maternity gowns?

We do! I am a bit wild about maternity gowns. We allow mom three gown changes per session. You can take a peek here at some of our gowns.

Where is your studio?

We are located in the Lake Wylie area and also shoot on location. We have many clients coming in from other states and do suggest staying in Charlotte NC or neighboring Rock Hill SC.

Do you shoot weddings, seniors or engagement photos?

Call me......seriously.

Do I have to be nude for my maternity portraits?

Absolutely not. Once you are scheduled we discuss modesty levels and gowns that are best for what you invision.
